What Happens When a Deviation Occurs

Excursions happen — traffic incidents, prolonged door openings at a receiving bay, equipment faults. What separates a compliant operation from a non-compliant one is the response. Our monitoring raises an alert the moment a reading leaves the configured band, our operations desk contacts the driver and your nominated quality contact, and a replacement vehicle is dispatched if the fault is mechanical.

You then receive a written excursion report containing the duration, the minimum and maximum readings, the affected consignment identifiers and the corrective action taken. That report is what your Responsible Person needs to make a product disposition decision, and it is issued the same day.
