What Fits Inside 8 Cubic Metres
In everyday terms this van carries about four euro pallets of stacked crates, 25 to 35 standard bakery trays, or a two-to-three-outlet restaurant day-load. The constraint you reach first is almost always volume rather than the 1,000 kg payload: chilled produce, packaged dairy and bakery fill the box long before they approach a tonne.
Loading to the ceiling is the mistake that costs temperature. The evaporator needs clearance above the load and along the side walls to circulate air to the rear of the box; a solid wall of crates pressed to the roof leaves the back corner several degrees warmer than the display in the cab suggests.
