Why Indian signups generate so much unwanted mail
Almost every Indian consumer service - marketplaces, food delivery, ticketing, coaching platforms, fintech apps - asks for an email address before it will show you anything useful. Each of those addresses is stored, and a large share is shared with partners for cross-promotion.
